Orange cake, Cinnamon and Coconut

  • Organic eggs: 4
  • Brown sugar dark: 3/4 cup
  • Peel oranges: 2
  • Orange juice: 1/2
  • Natural yoghurt: 250 ml
  • Vegetable oil: 1/4 cup
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Yeast: 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat flour: 150 g
  • Flour, whole wheat: 100 g
  • Grated coconut: 50 g


Pre-heat the oven to 180. Grease a form with butter/margarine and book.

In a cup, add the eggs and the sugar and beat well with a whisk until the mixture is voluminous.

Add the grated rind, juice, oil, and yogurt and stir very well. Sift the flour with the baking powder, and cinnamon and add to the mass involving gently until it becomes homogeneous.

Finally, add the coconut and shake. Place the dough in the form and put in the oven to bake (test of a stick).

Desenformar and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
