Onion Chutney

  • Onions in rings: 1/2 kg
  • Extra virgin olive oil: 2 dl
  • Garlic: 5
  • Raisins, without grainha: 1 Cup
  • Green pepper: 1 Tablespoon
  • Laurel green: 3 Sheets
  • The nails of india: 2
  • Pulp, tomato: 2 Cups
  • White wine vinegar: 1 1/2 Cup
  • Brown sugar: 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt, ground black pepper grain: taste.


Verte-if ½ dl of olive oil in a large pan, add the onion, garlic, whole and peeled, raisins, green pepper, bay leaves, and cloves. Cooking on a low heat until the onion is translucent.

Add the pulp, tomato paste, vinegar, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper, this freshly grind. Let it simmer on a low heat for about 2 hours, stirring from time to time.

If necessary, add a little water to a boil. Pour the prepared in a bottle wide mouth, and the stopper-if well. Kept in a cool place a month until ready to serve.
