Tomato Chutney

  • Ripe tomato: 2 kg
  • Onions: 700 g
  • Garlic: 5
  • White wine vinegar: 4 dl
  • Brown sugar: 1 1/2 Cup
  • Paprika: 1 Tablespoon
  • Chilli: 1
  • Grain of mustard seed: 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt: 1 (possibly 2, if it is to taste) Tablespoon


Scheldt the tomato, by and clean from seeds. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. It goes on to heat in a pan, along with the minced garlic, onions peeled and cut into slices and vinegar.

Let it boil until the onion submit a look soft and tomato broken.

Joins, at that time, the brown sugar, paprika, chili pepper, beans, mustard and salt.

Cooking on a low heat for an hour and a half, at least. Pour the prepared bottles wide-mouth, cover well and it is still a month before serving.
